ecumenical gesture of feeding the poor has taken place through a
shared ministry with New St. James Presbyterian Church, Holy
Trinity Lutheran Church, Colborne St. United Church and St.
Michaelís Catholic Church. Each week volunteers prepare a meal
for approximately 150 people. Over the past 12 years Holy
Trinity Lutheran hosted the meal for 5 years and New St. James
Presbyterian for the past 7 years. We have taken up the call and
for the next number of years, each Monday a meal will be
prepared. The first
Monday a meal will be prepared by St. Michaelís; the second
Monday by Colborne Street; the third Monday by Trinity;
the fourth Monday by New St. James.

Michael's Pastoral Staff
Fr. Seejo John
I am Father Seejo John. I am a diocesan
priest from the archdiocese of Ernakulam (Kochi) ,Kerala, a southern
province (state) in India.
I belong to the Syro-Malabar rite of the Catholic Church and a priest
for the last twelve years. I have been in the teaching faculty of a
seminary in India. For the last five years I was in the chancery office
of the archdiocese of Ernakulam ( Kochi) as an audit consultant along
with the responsibility of a city parish as pastor.
My parents are not alive. My mother died 28 years ago and my father 14
years ago. I have no brothers and sisters. You are my family members
and I love very much the parish community at St. Michael's Church.
Let us work together for the Kingdom of God on earth.
May God bless you all in His providence
